"Know India Programme 2019-2020" dated 23 June, 2019

            Government of India is organizing 6 Know India Programmes (54th - 59th KIPs) during the financial year 2019 - 2020 for youth of Indian origin in the age group 18-30 years. The details and schedule of the 54th, 55th and 56th KIP programmes are available on the KIP portal (www.kip.gov.in).

2.         Indian origin youth are encouraged to participate and register online for the KIPs which is a three-week orientation programme organized by the Ministry of External Affairs since 2004. The programme also consists of a ten-day tour to one or two partner States with a view to connect the Indian youth with their motherland and give exposure on the various aspects of India’s art, culture, heritage, etc. It is underlined that the programme is only for Persons of Indian Origin and not for Non-Resident Indians.
